This aerial view of Witley Court, its gardens and surroundings looking north towards Stourport and Kidderminster, illustrates well the main features of this spectacular ruin in its final form. The only principle aspect not shown is the Poseidon fountain and statuary, just off the bottom edge of the picture. The original medieval parish church stood to the left of the present one, near the conifer trees. In the middle distance can be seen the front pool, created when the Shrawley Brook was dammed, and to the right, the area known as the Wilderness.
